Ms. Emily

Ms. Emily is a certified elementary school teacher. She graduated from UCF with her teaching degree. She taught at Lake County public schools for six years and remotely for four years. Her passion is teaching math.

At Mount Peace Kids, Ms. Emily offers 3 options: 

1.  (1 on 1 in-person) Mortensen Math (All ages) 1-hour session- materials include a 21-page workbook. I offer two courses * Algebra using Mortensen's Math OR *Basic Math using Mortensen's Math

2. (Virtual) Zoom Group Classes: I teach Phonics, Montessori Grammar, and Basic Math Group sessions on Outschool. (With the math classes, I use Math Magnet Blocks) I use Boom Learning cards for the 30-minute session.

3. (Virtual) Zoom 1 on 1's: I teach Basic Math in a visual way. The student will build each problem using Math Magnets. This is a fun and easy way to learn math. We will use Zoom. I use Boom Learning Cards for the 30-minute session.
